TIPS FOR CONTROL YOUR MIND

RELAX:

It’s imperative that you get enough rest. While experts will tell you there is no “set, hard and fast rule” on how much sleep one needs, it is most important to listen to YOUR body. When you are tired, rest. Period. Though you may be able to function on four to five hours a night for a short duration, make time to “catch up” on your rest periodically.

Release the inner dictator:

. One of the heaviest things that hold space in out mind is our inner dialogue: that voice inside our heads continuously commenting our work, showing the negative parts, judging ourselves and others, building a dramatic story of everything that is happening.

There are many tricks to fire the tyrant out of your head, but all of them start by acknowledging its existence and acknowledging that it’s yourself who is making the dialogue and, therefore, you have complete power over it

 Write something:

Use writing to destress your mind. There is no difference whether you keep a diary or write a letter to a friend. In both cases you will slow down your thinking process and release the thoughts that are bothering you. Writing also enables you to gather and organize your ideas – very useful if you are in the decision making process.

 Working with Art expression:

Draw, paint, design, build – whatever best suits your creative style. When working on a project that you’re passionate about, it will surely take your mind off the at times crazy world around you. Not to mention you’ll have some new home decorations too.
